Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my 3.01 psp to 3.03 with this update below.

i placed the eboot into PSP/GAME/UPDATE but all that happens is that the psp displays corrupted data, and wont run it.

Any ideas?

have you tryed formatting your memorystick and then putting the file back on ??

Make sure you change the name to just EBOOT.PBP

hang on,

the eboot i downloaded is named 11844_eboot.PBP

should i rename as the tutorial doesnt mention this, only when using the 1.5fw

have you tryed RESETING system settings ? sounds odd yes rename it to eboot.pbp

yes... it has to be named just eboot.pbp so take out whatevers in front of eboot

ok,

I have 3.03HEN running, and ive just got to wait for my battery to charge up! Its at 65% so i dont think it will be too long.

Thanks for your help by the way.

Also i have the 3.03OE C wininstaller, does it just run itself like the old 2.6 downgrader?

the winstaller just puts the files in the correct places after the winstaller is finished doing that you go to your xmb and click update to 3.03 oe-c on your game menu memory stick. real simple. Everything is stated on the winstaller tho on whats going to happen and what you need to do.

personally i would go with 3.03 oe-c

the differences..
3.03 oe-c
more customizable features
3.10 oe-a
slightly better psx emulation

Choice is yours.
