How to Encrypt a CD so its not burnable?

Im trying to figure out how to make a cd unburnable, like some music cds and games. Any suggestions?

if you already know this plase dont take this rongly.
have you tried finalizing your disk?
try right clicking the icon and click finalise
disk. it should work also in your dvd drive.

I think the user wants to know how to stop his CD being duplicated, by some unscupulous person.
In other words he don't want it ripped off???

Erm.. The fact that this site exists kind of proves there is no way to do that. :)

All the above can be easily bypassed m8 Archive with WinRAR and put a password or WinAce. I know this route can be bypassed but much tougher going..

This will "copy protect" your cd....in an "attempt" to make them unburnable.

"This" refers to what you were talking about, specifically regarding some process to make something unburnable. For the record... no such technique feasibly exists. After all the people who make the orignal cds have to be able to brung a bazillion copies of a 'protected' cd.
