I can't figure out how to Play PSP games online

I got to the game for GTA vice city and then go to multiplayer then(i do both hot and join still won't let me)...sory if i have too many questions on this site but i have done research.

You need to be able to connect to a connection. Through a router or a wireless hotspot. You can't just go online, or play online for nothing you know.

i do have connection to the internet from my psp i do have wirless hotspot...still went to everyting and checked eveything
