Okay, I currently have 3.10oe-a custom firmware. Since I can't customize the icons it kinda sucks and I'm getting kinda bored with it. Would it be worth it to recover back t 1.5 and upgrade to 3.03oe-c just for the icons? Or would that be pointless and have too much risk? Please give me your feedback.

You can wait for the 3.30 OE-A that might include customizable themes.

When the 3.30 OE comes out, just upgrade to it. Probably will it contain more functions then 3.10 OE and 3.03 OE.
Be patient. ;-)

for me it would be worth it cuz of my love of custom icons and if got nothing to lose with going to 3.03oe then i'd suggest go for it cuz only the idiots that dont follow the readme's brick their psp's to no return which is very hard to do on 3.03oe+ cuz you can acess the flash in recovery
