Hi all!

I experience a little problem with windows medial player 11.

Recently, and after I have installed-unistalled some programs (like AVI to VCD etc.), I try to open with wmp11 an AVI file and I get the usual error message "windows media payer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and the error report says "appname: wmplayer.exe, appver: 11.0.5721.5145 ModName: unknown, ModVer: 0.0.0.0 offset: 00000000".

When I try to play an audio file or a wma file everything works fine. But when I try to open an AVI or an mpeg file I get the above error message and then the wmp closes down.

Can anyone help? Do you know what is wrong and how can I fix it?
Everything was working perfectly before.
