Hello all, trying to burn gow2 on new verbatims dl+r....and no luck.
Switched from Nero to imgburn because of all coasters with Nero.
Got 4 philips dl DVD+R coasters and one verbatim dl Coaster.
My burner also doesn't like to philips dvd+r's i've been feeding it.
Never had problems with those before, over 100+ good burns....lately 1 in 10 is good. So switched to verbatims...

Power Calibration Area Error : this indicated your drive have problem determine the correct power output of the laser to burn the media.
This could either mean:
- Your lens might be not clean.
- You are burning too fast, or too slow. Try different speed setting: you are using DL so try 2.4x
- The media itself is pure crap, seem unlikely since it haven't give you problem before.
- The I/O setting. Did you change something recently ? As I see you are using Nero WNASPI32.DLL with the latest IMGBURN. This is not the default setting of IMGBURN I think. Try restore the default I/O interface of IMGBurn (Go to Tools-Settings-I/O , restore default)
The media i'm using now are verbatims..i'll set the I/O to default and try burning slower see if that helps.
Will also try to clean the lens.

I used 2.4 times now without an error, however the game doesn't load.
Don't even get to see the playstation2 logo....maybe my modchip(messiah2) doesn't support dl media :(
