Looking for some advice how to back up a TV show DVD.
The full DVD is about 3hrs 30 mins long. I haqve used instantcopy, but the quality is very bad as the compression is at 55%.
Is there any other way to back up this DVD?
Thanks in advance
Paul

You could try reading Oriphus's guide using ;

DVD Decrypter + DVD 2 One and burning with Record Now or Nero as even compressed right down you wont notice it that much

I've backed up Red Dwarf series one N two which was about 3 hours in total and the quality is fine , the soundtrack was only pro logice so this could have made a difference

Some mornings I wake up grumpy other mornings I let her sleep !!!

When you say TV show DVD what do you mean? Is it a pre-recorded or one recorded personally? If it is a pre-recorded then DVD Shrink is a good tool and it will also compress episodic discs - you can edit out what you don't want to reduce compression including unwanted soundtrack options. If it's a personally recorded disc then just do a direct copy on the fly (no compression needed).

DVD2One should produce a better quality for you. It had compressed & variable bitrate settings , just for those long DVD's over two and a half hours.
