After loading a certain game it is asking for a software update. What exactly does this do, and what does it change the firmware of? Is there any danger attached to it? I really want to play this game but am hesitant to do so because I've never had this message with any other games I have. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

It's just probably a regular XBL update for fixing bugs and other things of that nature.
