My brother has a psp and we were going to play it last night but it wouldn't start up. The green light goes on and the psp will not start. He didn't do any kind of downgrading or firmware or anything. Any tricks to help. He might just need to send it off to Sony.
I think I read somewhere that you can hard boot by holding down the R button while turning on??
Thanks!

hopefully its out of battery if not then its most likely bricked. dunno how though

holding r while booting up is not a hardboot, it just lets u access recovery menu on a custom firmware psp when u are doing a hardboot
