it takes a firewire to transfer videos from your mini dv camera to your computer. Ive got a firewire, and on the other end is a usb. When i plug the firewire/usb into my computer it shows a driver error box. where is the driver i need to get for it to work?

sounds like you don't have the right drivers for this here is a link for drivers for your thing, don't know if this will work or not but it might, here is the link http://www.sonnettech.com/downloads/adapter_sw.html#drivers
