do the cheats work for this game with swap magic 3.6

Y,Y,B,O,Y,B Air Guitar

Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow Hyper Speed De/Activate

Yellow, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Yellow, Orange, Yellow, Yellow Performance mode (Guitar God Mode?)

at the title menu it says to enter them?
do they mean on the song list

is there a way to get the rock meter to stay all the way up and never go down ?

Yes, the cheats do work. You can enter them in even using the Swap Magic discs. My friend entered the monkey head cheat or something like that one time and it worked. I don't remember if it was at the title menu that he did it because I don't use cheats but you can get them to work.
