OK. I will admit that I am new to the PS2 game burning scene, as it has never worked for me in the past and I had all but given up. However, when Narutimate Accel came out (a Japan-only game), I wanted to play the damn thing but didn't have the money to go out and buy it. SO I downloaded the .ISO and attempted to burn it to a DVD. Here's what I did:
I downloaded the file successfully, extracted the ISO, and burned it using Nero. Unfortunately, Nero told me that I could not burn it through the DVD-ROM ISO function because it was too large, and that I should use the DVD-ROM UDF function instead. I did that, tried to play it using Swap Magic 3.6, and it did not work. It came up as "Not a Valid PS2 Disc".
I then tried using DVD Decrypter, burned it with the ISO function, and once again, it did not play on my PS2 (same message).
I'm using Dynex DVD-Rs, 16x/120 min/4.7GB. And I burned the DVD on the lowest speed, 1x.
And yes, I know how to use the Swap Magic properly, I've been playing Narutimate Hero 3 (I imported it back when I had money) for quite some time.
I tried DVD Decrypter as well. Must be the media then. I know there are suggestions all over, but is there a general consensus on which is the best for PS2? I have the older model.
