I have seen Scvds to download that are bin/cue files. i have dled these b4 and successfully put them onto cd. My question is i see some Scvds that are over 2gb and only have 2 bin and 2 cue files. Ive been told that it doesnt matter on the size of the SVCD its the length, therefore if under 74 minutes but over 700mb its ok. If i dled a SVCD that is over 2gb but each part is under 74mins or 99mins would it fit on the disc?
I would assume that files that are over 2 gigabyte (bin& cue) are for dvd burners m8. I do SVCD backups all the time using DVD2SVCD and save mine as bin& cue and I've burned as high as 835 megabytes.
Quote: Thanks for your help, so if i had a dvd writer could i create a menu and put several SVCDs one on dvd disc?
I don't know as I don't a dvd burner (yet).
One of the most recommended programs that I know of to backup dvd's to dvd-r(w) is SlySoft's AnyDVD& CloneDVD.If a dvd is over 4.7 gig many use DVD Shrink or DVD2One to encrypt the vob files. Post this question in the dvd forum m8.
