Just bought an Xbox 360, flashed it and am getting ready to play a backup of my copy of Gears of War on Live. I havent started yet, but my buddy told me that there are a bunch of firmware and definitions updates for the xbox 360 once you go on live. By updating, will this jack up my flash? Will I be able to play backed up games on Live? Sorry for the noob question.

it shouldn't jack up your flash, aslong as u follow all tutorials and everything u shouldn't have any issues playing on live either..

thousands do it.

Are you talking about the onscreen tutorial when setting up Live, or is there a special tutorial somewhere floating around these forums about how to access live using a flashed xbox? Thanks.
