I bought god of war a few months ago and it has picked up only a few minor scratches.However, when i reach a certain point in the sewers of athens in the game , the path disappears and i cant go any further.I downloaded a rip of the game and buned it using DVD Decrypter at a write speed of 1x.When i tried toplay the game using swap magic it stopped at the first screen.This is the first time ive burned a ps2 game and any advice would be appreciated.

Try Burning the disc at 4x on a DVD - R

yeah those suck...use verbatim, or taiyo yudens, i personally use sony but i believe the other two are better. sony is pretty good still
