Hi and good day!I'm not to these forums and this site has so much info that it seems i just can't go wrong here!I have some avi's movie files that i convert and burn to dvd with ConvertXtoDVD,it does a great job has toons of options but it seems a little slow.I think it takes about 2 1/2 hours to convert and burn to dvd.So i am looking for one that does the same thing as ConvertXtoDVD(convert and then burn movie file to play in home dvd player)I have a p4 3.0 gig of ddr ram dual channel p875 board and sony dvd 18x burner with vmicrosoft vista ultimate.Thank you for your time.

55 minute video 700mb=50 minutes
43 minute video 350mb=26 minutes.
I don't count the burn time because personal preference enters into that.I burn at low speed, so add fifteen minutes.
If you think the time is out of line, check that DMA is enabled on the drives.
I haven't compared it with Nero, but I would expect the same ballpark.
