I'm pretty sure the cheapest way I found out is paying $25 for swapmagic but is there anyway I can do it for free without soldering? is there anyway to do it for free w/ soldering? Thanks a lot because I want to back up some of my games.

yes, you still need Swap Magic. But you can do what is called a tape & tissue mod. Just do a search.

Personally the cheap way out is never the best one, but people just refuse to spend the money to have a good system.
