Hey this is my first post here at AD, I joined mainly to get help on this particular topic as im craving to play DK country on my psp, I did some sniffing around and kept getting different replies for different firmware versions...I own a psp version 2.5 and i want someone to tell me straight up what i need to do to get donkey kong country 1 2 and 3 on my psp. I will really appreciate it

just upgrade to 3.03 oe-c and if the donkey kongs are in iso u will be fine with this firmware

u need to cnvert them too, ISO wont work, they'l require crappy emulators

How do u expect me to respond to that, I have two very vague replies that contradict each other. If upgrading to 3.0 w/e is the case, then please tell me how to do so, and its obvious that im looking for the best emulator, so if I should stay away from isos then tell me so, dont recommend me stuff to just get the task done, i want it "well" done.

oe is the best bet but if not 2.71 hen-d is just as good and use snesxtyl .42 (or something close)

wait nm my other post...ace_7 if dk country is a n64 game (correct me if i'm wrong, u need to downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to custom firmware (3.03 oe-c, or whatever u want, there are several). then u need to use an emulator, i believe daedalus is the best one, although it still is buggy and slow

Chanman the title of this thread is "SNES emu for psp" that means that im looking for an SNES emu :)
So how do I upgrade my psp to the required firmware that will run the SNES emu?
Where do I get the best SNES emu w. Donkey Kong country 1 2 and 3?
How do I put it on my psp, and get it to work?
Please refrain from responding with short vague replies afterall im a noob at this, and yes I did my research but as you can see im still baffled.

downgrade
upgrade to 3.03 oe-c
emu should go in psp/game150
as for the games, can't help u there, u need to find them on ur own...google donkey kong country roms or whatever

Great, the question is now, better snes emus work on what firmware version? as you know I have a 2.5, so do u recommend me to upgrade or downgrade? and to what? and can you name a top quality snes emu, and where i can find it please

u need to downgrade first to 1.5 then upgrade...thats why i gave u both links

I thought you gave me the freedom in choosing which firmware I want in offering me both links. well now that its clear, the question no one seems to answer is does anyone know of a good snes emu, and where I can get it from?

wow how hard can it be
1. take off ur email address
2. use the link for the downgrade because u need to get to 1.5
3. use the second to upgrade to 3.03 oe-c
4. put the two files of the emulator in x:/PSP/GAME150
