any of you know what brand of media is good for Plextor 708A

I heard someone said some brands can make 4X to 8X . is it possible?

I've only seen one post so far, he said he was able to burn Memorex 4x R- media at 8x speed. Still a very new burner I'd imagine more posts will come in time.I guess you'll have to experiment a bit.

Woooo Slow down! Slow down! 8X is way to fast for my liking, drop it to 4X.

Dunno how fast 8X media will arive as it depends on the consumers who buy the new drives/media. If these prices stay, then you are in for a long wait!
