Well, I got some of my backups working with my swap disc, but I can only swap cds when the door is only like an inch open. I used the cheap man's fix (tape and tissue method), I believe it's the front sensor but I have tissue blocking it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

yes, just search for a tutorial on how to do the mod. You obviously did not block the sensor that resets the machine when you open the lid correctly. That or spend a few dollars and get a set of Magic Keys II
