Sony Ericsson W810i USB connection help

When I connect my W810i to my PC via the USB cable and selection File Transfer mode, the Sony Ericsson PC Suite software will say the phone is connected to the PC and my computer reconizes the phone.

But when I select Phone Mode, the Snny Ericsson PC Suite software and my PC will not reconize the phone, it say the phone is not connected to the computer.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix this.
