i have a LG dvd burner but have no softwar exept for dvd dycripter wich i downloaded of the net. im not sur how to do it, i have been able to make image files with it but then it wont let me burn them on to dvd-r, i dont think its the media i am using because i have backed up about 10 ps2 games for myself,is there something i have to do after making the image file?

Just buy a copy of DVD express and that should fix your problems.

Download DVDShrink (free) and also Nero. Nero will burn your files onto a disc. DVDXpress is easier to use, but too buggy for my liking. Instead of fixing your problems it will probably cause you problems (or headaches).

I would disagree with DVDxPress. I find it a good program, and the new Platium version allows easy backups of episode discs. You have to buy it, but I have had much less problems and errors using DVDxCopy and burning with Nero then an other program and Nero. I still don't trust DVDxCopy burning engine, but for backing up it is the simplest and easyiest to use.
