Connecting Two Boxes To One TV

My TV has two Scarts so one will for the DVD player and the other will be for my Virgin Media box. Problem is I also want to include my Dreambox DM500 so I don't have to keep on swapping the cable between the Virgin Box and the Dreambox.

Do I need to take the virgin cable into a 2 way splitter than the 2 cables off the splitter go into the Virgin Box and the Dreambox.
I would then want to put a scart to 3 phono connector to connect the Dreambox to the TV.

Would this work and be easy to access each box (DVD, Virgin, Dreambox) and wouldn't have any problems.

What splitter would I need?
