powerdvd 6 and 7 blackscreen issues

I tried both PowerDvd 6.5 and 7 on my computer. I have a dualview setup consisting of a 20 inch lcd monitor and 37 inch lcd tv, both Viewsonic. When I play the movie on the computer monitor, I can see the video. When I drag it over to the TV (via HDMI cable) the screen goes black but I can still hear the sound. It resumes video when I drag it back to the PC monitor.

When I use PowerDVD 5, it worked flawlessly on my LCD TV. The only reason I "upgraded" is beacause I want DTS 5.1, which #5 does not have, unfortunately.

I am stumped. I tried a codec program, which was reccomened in another post with this similar problem and it did nothing (klcodec289f). Also, #6 seems to have a "green flicker" issue when the screens other than the movie itself are in the screen; this lasts for about 5-10 seconds.

Any help would be great. I guess I may have to settle for Dolby Digital surround from my trusty Powerdvd 5 if I cannot fix this.
