I've just bought the 3.8 Coder version on Swap Magic + Magic keys 3 and I must say I am really happy with it!
I just don't understand some of the features on this version:
1. What is NORMAL and SPECIAL boot? What is the difference/advantages? When to use what?
(also, since I have PAL, DEFAULT and NTSC options I don't know what the DEFAULT option refers to)
2. What is this REFRESH TOC option about? So far so good, every game I tried worked perfectly but what is the refresh toc option for?
3. I have a TV with no S-Video slots available, and whenever I try to use a NTSC backup I get no colors (Black and white) on the game. Sound is flawless, though. I know this is a common thing, but I heard about the RGB Scart cable (my TV has 2 SCART entries) and I understand that if my TV supports NTSC, this cable will fix my problem, but how do I know if my TV supports NTSC? On Pro Evo Soccer 6 there's an option to test the NTSC and when I try this the result is a message box stating: "if you can see this message, your tv supports NTSC". Still I need to be sure before I spend money on a RGB Scart cable.
There... 3 questions which I think are clear. Anyone out there who could help me out here? Thanks, guys!
