DMS4 SE swapping v4 to v7. Need help!!

Hey I have this Modchip that came out a version 4. I am putting it in a version 7 with the sanyo laser. I think it is the us ps2. I have installed it right and checked everything for connections. All I get is a black screen. The sony or nothing pops up. The chip was previously flashed with Toxic bios while it was in the Version 4. I kinda am wondering now if you flash the chip does it do it for that version and wont let you change it to another one. I have checked the D-M wires and no problem what so ever. If there is any suggestions on what to look for next or anyone that can help me figure this problem out I would be extremely happy. This is my first v7 to do. I have done ALOT of V4 with no problems.
