problem with video on psp

ok so i converted my AVI form of a movie to an m-peg4 form with the .thm file using 3GP then i made the correct folders (MP_ROOT) under psp and then making another folder under root (whatever that was) and putting the video in that folder and renaming it M4V00000.MP4, then i went to my psp and tried to paly it, no videos detected.... am i supposed to do something different if i have a japanese psp? If someone could give me specific instructions (and yes i have read ALL guides) than that would be sweel, thanks.

ok now do i need to transfer the .thm file? If so, is there anything needed to be done with it?
secondly, is everything else right with naming the file and such?

damnit dude what the fuck? its still not working i did what you said and put everything in the correct folders, i also renamed the file to M4V00000... am i doing this right?

try using psplayermt it can play any thing including avi

hey totenkoph here somethin u could use its called super i used it n everything worked out fine for me here a link on aftherdawn. they have a guid on wat to do to convert to psp formate just follow wat it says n u cant go wrong. at this link u should find another taking u to get super
good luck
p.s: it may b a pain in the a$$ trying to fin da download link for super its there just look around.

It may have been that you encoded to AVC, which has a file that starts with MAQ, this also has its own folder which is 101ANV01.
MP_ROOT\100MNV01\M4Vxxxxx.MP4
MP_ROOT\101ANV01\MAQxxxxx.MP4

i have already told him to try this tho it did not work...i think it may be a settings prob. i want him to try this on his settings u guys think it will work???
try this it should work it is how mine was converted.....good luck if u have any questions ur welcome to ask.(program: super/settings)
output format: psp H264 AVC video(368x208)

fram size-368:208
bit rate-768
fram rate-29.97
~audio~
bit rate-64
sample rate-48000
*output folder- try n leave on ur desktop in a folder *
DONT CLICK TRANSFER TO A PSP DIRECTLY,PUT IT IN MANUALY

Super (C), while it will encode most things you throw at it.. its not a great converter, there is much better apps out there that will do the job 100 times better.

dude, wut version u running...if its like 2.7 or over....u put it in the PSP/VIDEO/ folder....not MP_root or w.e...works fo me:D
