I wouldn't use Roxio crap even if it were free. Roxio has a horrible track record for doing malicious things to your system. I tried using version 7.5 & 8 of there burn suites and 8 tagged all of my files on the HDD's, which I couldn't get rid of for the longest time. I gave up on Easy CD Creator over a decade ago after Adaptec lost the original software team. It was shortly after that when they sold out to Roxio and the suite continually gets worst with its improvements, no that's funny.
Although Nero isn't perfect I'll stick with them and by the way you can author HD disc's with their software.
Roxio blows, it is as bad as Symantec Norton products..... Once install you can't remove it. It gets buried so deep in the registry you need a complete format to get rid of it..
I really like Nero, although when installing get rid of all the bloatware, but just keep Smartstart, burning rom, express, vision, and recode, plus the tools.....boom done.
