I saw this thing the other day where a guy used a memory converter to use an old cell phone memory card he had in a psp. It used a ribbon attached to a dummy core duo stick. It got me thinking why cant you do the same with a cd? Yes the cd drive would be as big as the psp but if you had a long enough ribbon you could lay the drive away from you and you would even know. Any one herd of this? would this work?

it should be possible just since it would be a pain to do and no software would support it, it would be a waste of time

why would you need software? wouldnt you be able to format it like a core duo and be ready to go?
