Hey, first of all I would like to say how great of a site this is, I come here for all my modding needs. thx!

Ok first of all this was my first time trying to mod a ps2, I have a v4 ps2. I am using the chip matrix ifinity se 1.54 I think its a clone.

I installed and now my ps2 when the power switch is clicked on just makes a high pitched sound. I have no idea what it is!

this is the guide I used

I used the one for the matrix ifinity chip but just now noticed that there is a clone guide as well... well crap... so I have some questions...

1) is my ps2 fried? The beeping noise and all
2) Should I just take the chip off and see if it works agian
3) use the clone guide?
4) lastly... the clip that holds the ribben for the reset/open button broke off so now should I glue the ribben back on?

Clones usually have problems you cant upgrade them and they last not that long
