First of all, apologies if this is a repeat of a thread elsewhere.

I remember reading (although couldn't find the thread) that it is possible to make a temp backup of channel lists on the d box before doing a scan, in the event of a re-scan not finding the desired channels.

Had a look at the backup options on commando 6 image, but am out of my depth and didn't want to screw things up.

Wanted to do a re-scan to sort out channel names etc. after virgin changed frequencies, is this advisable or am i better to just live with it as it is?
