Can I go online with a backup PS2 game if I lost the original copy?

I have the .ISO on my computer, by I've lost the original disc and all I have is the backup. Can I go online with this backup?

you need DNAs(disc id) to play netgame with backup.

My BF2 disk has too many scratches so my computer can reads it(took long time to read) but ps2 makes problems(like freezing).

so i took the DNAS from my game title and put it on the ISO, works well.

but you lost your original, too bad, you can't use your own.
I don't know exactly what should you do but check this
