Hello all,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be "safer" to go through an anonymous proxy to hide Your real IP address? I'm sure it would still be possible for the Feds to find You out, but would using a proxy, would that help?? Thanks!!

I think proxy is a "put off"//Don't worry about the feds ---they aren't the ones losing big bucks...always follow the money ..and you'll get the answer............the ip will ping to proxy ..but your ip server is the one ya gotta worry about...do they hand over info on a dime???or do they protect your privacy ,like the "privacy statement" they adore when you sign up ..they should fight it ...remember..it's just one more liberty chisled away from the whole....find out and let me know

A proxy server is a possibility BUT, you would need a SOCKS 5 proxy to use a p2p network properly! So you would have to spend a bit i reckon. eMule accepts http proxies but u'll never get a high ID with one!

try http://www.sa6ry.com/surfanonymous/ it includes proxy analyzer, so you can overcome the slow problem.

actully surfanonymous can hide the ip address of any application.
