I am not sure if this is the right forum, but having read a previous thread, I thought perhaps the members of this forum might be bale to help. I have been hunting down a BIOS update for an award bios for a JETWAY 530 BF board. I was told to download a BIN file. Now I am at a stage where I am not sure about the installation and wondered if anyone mught be able to give me a walk through guide or point me in the right direction for help. HI, not really seen a question like this in this forum b4 but here goes.
make a boot floppy to start with, then copy your bin file and the flash utility to it, which is here http://www.jetway.com.tw/evisn/download/bios/Awdflash.exe , then reboot your machine, booting off your boot disk. at the prompt type awdflash.exe yourfile.bin old.bin , obviously replace yourfile.bin with its true name, then reboot your machine when it tells you it has completed. enterr the bios, make your changes and your done. please make sure you have the right bios!!!
