Guys I want to buy the new silver slim line ps2 but I would like to know if that machine can be modified to backup games??
if it can can someone please tell me what modchip I am looking for to do the job?

what version is it? I do not know any model out that can not be modded in some way to play back ups.

if it can be modified what modchip do i have to get because there are different modchips for different versions

k sorry for the 50000 posts but I got the ps2
the back of the ps2 says this

scph-77001 it is a silver playstation 2 the slim one
can someone tell me what the best modchip for this particular machine would be
thanks in advance!

also one more question how do i know what version of the ps2 i have

(v14-15??)
I do not know if because it is silver it is a different version I am new to the modding of these machines
