God of War II is my 1st DVD9 game I have tried to backup. I use DVD Decrypter like I always do to make my ps2 DVD5 backups. I made the backup the same way I would a normal ps2 DVD5 game but burnt it to a Verbatim DVD+R DL DVD.
I Have a slim ps2 with swap magic 3.6 it works grate on all my DVD5 backups but say "not a valid ps2 disc" when i try to boot a DVD+R DL game. I am using the "DVD" swap magic disc to boot my DVD games.
Thank you for your time and help. :)
p.s. DVD Decrypter Tries to burn the .MDS file every time I try to burn the ISO file. You guys think Nero would work?
You need to rebuild God of War II to work with Swapmagic, DVD±R DL do not work with Swapmagic. I use swapmagic and I rebuild GoW2 3.98GB and the game works great. Just follow one of the guides at this site.
here's gnie's version
