I'm kinda new here, but I hope you guys can help me out.

You see, I bought one of these clear flip-top cases for my (fat) PS2:

I'm pretty sure for some of you that stuff is easy cake, but I'm new with modding.

Anyway, everything is good to go, got the case in perfectly, put all the screws back in...

OK, so I lied. There was one screw I missed - for the bottom of the PS2, because another screw is blocking it's way for the ribbon cord going to and from the RESET and POWER button.

When I have games going, the disc spins fine and the PS2 can read just about anything - but... It makes a really loud noise. Like a moterboat. It's got to do something with the white thing at the top, that clicks into the system and aligns the disc...

Or it could be that extra screw I screwed up on?

Either way... how to I make the disc quiet? If I put pressure on the flip top case, the sound goes away - unless the laser is really far off the CD, but that usually doesn't happen...

Meow.

LOL, sorry guys. My bad.

I unscrewed the thing, but the screws in right... But it still hummed.

Then I realized I hadn't closed the lid all the way. It's flawless now. :D
