hey i am having trouble soft modding i mean i have the splinter cell game and action replay i just need theese two game saves that i cant find can some one help me pleas :(
thesse r the game save files that i cant find:

is it possible to more memory via an external hard drive or something like that where i dont have to open the xbox but get alot of memory like 10 gigs

i soft modded my xbox and had no problem with it.
i dont use xbl on it i just go on 360 and us live there
much easier, much smarter i think
i dont have action replay but it was easy and i did it in like 10 minutes also so the tut actually works but is a lil chopy

i soft modded my xbox and 9it was like 7 months ago and i forgot how to take them off. i remember i have to put splinter cell and then i have to dop something on my computer will someopne plz help.

u wanna take the softmod off take a splinter cell, mechassault, or james bond auf gamesave and activate it through the game and at the softmod menu select uninstall softmod

ok but the maps i modded on xbox live for halo are modded maps. i had to switch the good maps with the bad ones. and i forgot how to switch them back

i have just purchased an xbox from Game Stop. I attempted to softmod by running the games save files on splinter cell all went well untill i got to the part to install Ndure Krayzies nfpatcher Everytime i try to install in it says action rename. I created a profile on Halo 2 however i have never connected to xbox live and wonder if i have to register it or not? Im lost need to know what i did wrong because i cant get it to work. Please help

@Berry,
You need to connect to live, to update your dash.
I had the same problem with 1 Xbox I softmodded.

How do I Install XBMC
Ok, I know how to softmod an xbox, I have not modded mine yet but i've watched others do it so I know the drill. I was wondering how I install XBMC (as a dashboard) on my xbox ? And once I install it i'm wondering how I make it launch as the default dashboard ?

k i do that but when i go to ms dashboard for the mechassualt version it comes with this weird chinese writing and my xbox freezes. can u help me.....................It wont let me connect to flashfxp

Just got a 360 so Im thinkin of moddin my original Xbox.
First of all, do i need one of those 3 games and AR? Or is there another method?
Also, if i do then will it work with the PAL version?

i need some help, i've had my xbox softmodded and running with this tutorial for a while now and its been working great, i was just wondering if it is possible to take off the installer screen when you power on from the disk open button. i want my xbox to boot into unleashx when i push the power button and when i push the open tray button. thanks in advace

Help Question? ... I have gone by the instructions that I have found here with both MA and SC and both get a green frag screen with 21 at the top right after I try to run Linux ... what am I doing wrong ... ??? ... I have a v1.6

I softmodded my xbox, well my cousin did it, and I was playing a back up of Oddworld Stangers Wrath And then the screen froze. Switched off and the system refuses too come back on. Then my cousin tells me that the system is now shot too hell and I just lost an xbox. I curse thast frickin softmod!!!!!!
