Some mods who shall remain nameless have got a little big for their boots recently. I've been a member for a few months and the attitude of certain mods has really put me off asking for help here. Two knowledgble and very helpful people get banned by some jumped up little snot just for trying to help, I dont think I will bother coming here any more. It's a bit sad really, the place really has developed a quiet intimadating qlique. Now how to I delete my membership?

Can we get back on the subject now
I was successfuly able to backup this movie. At first I was having troubles but I finally did it. I used AnyDVD in background and then DVDFab Decrypter. Then used DVD Shrink. I'm glad I read this thread otherwise I would have no clue how to backup this movie.

funny I've never had a problem with dennis (ddlooping). And jmet must be retarded if he still doesn't get it.
The admins agree it's not just me. jmet was just linking to dd and offering little content in some threads and just sending them elsewhere.
If you guys don't like it ... leave. We have enough knowledgeable members here.
And as far as Arniebear ... there is not a thread like the one he linked to at dd (at least to my knowledge).
Alot of stuff jmet was linking to can be found here or can be solved here. It's a simple concept ...
You guys want to act like babies ... leave. Plain and simple. Stop b*tching about it.

There are only 17 mods in this forum. And roughly 3 or 4 actively moderating the forum.
And you 3 or 4 seem to be whining quite a bit ... out of thousands of users online.

I would like some clarification on what links can and can't be used. I see countless links in this thread, some in signatures which link to other sites, others in posts where it appears that your forum automatically creates links from certain keywords. It also appears that all the ads and popups also have links to other sites.
Is there a time period where an unanswered question/post, or for that matter answered to the "questioners" satisfaction, after expiring a link to an answer or explanation elsewhere is acceptable? It appears there's a bit of a double standard at use here at Afterdawn, one person can link because there's not a thread like it here, but another can't because there may be an answer here? Who's at fault in situation's like that, the person who asked without doing a search, or the person who answered to help out with what they did know, but perhaps didn't have all threads here committed to memory. It appears that even the mods here haven't done that impossible task.
As a relative newcomer to this forum, it disturbs me that people are being banned for not answering questions to the mods satisfaction, or by including information from another site. I saw no evidence of another site being promoted over yours, nor evidence of defamation of your site. Surely your intent is not to stiffle the sharing of knowledge, compiled by people from all over the world on the many different forums that cover the topics at hand here?
As for moderators who stoop so low as to make fun of mentally disabled people by using some derogatory term that went out of fashion with the "n" word, your advice on this matter is not sought. Perhaps Nephilim can clear up this muddy water.

neph seems you are respected around here I must say neph you are a bright spot in this forum some one who cares! and comes to they're friends aid now can I ask why certain members are banned that came to they're friends aid! this is quite peculiar
btw this is not jest Neph you seem quite the super mod standing beside your friend what's his name!! but I will lay off the compliments before you get the wrong idea!
