no error 21 comes straight away just after i put a game in or just turn it on it flicks to error 21 also as it does i can see a bit of the right dash then it flicks to 21

try getting auto-installer deluxe v3.0 or slayer disk final 2.6 burn it to a dvd and put it in ur xbox. just google it for the download

the xbox hdd is unreadable. There are couple of reasons.
How is your connections?
DId you disconnect IDE cable from xbox hdd after white microsoft logo appear under XBOX (no game in the dvd drive)?

yes i did, i tried to do it alot of times and it did pick it up but it didnt allow me in! im so confused and annoyed.

That is weird. Look like the xbox did not unlock the hdd. That is why you see it in xplorer360 but can't access into it.
did you follow these step?
- PC's hdd is on primary IDE cable.
- Xbox's hdd will be on secondary cable. NO dvd drive on this cable..
- PC's hdd and Xbox's hdd are not on the same IDE cable.
- turn on pc and hit the break key. So pc stop booting. The bios is not even detect drives yet.
- turn on xbox and wait until the microsoft logo appears under XBOX. Then quickly remove IDE cable from xbox hdd and connect it to secondary IDE cable from PC. DO NOT turn off xbox here.
- hit any key on keyboard so pc continues boot up.
- open xplorer360 and look for xbox hdd.

after you are done as above and still cant access to xbox hdd, then try to do this.
PC and Xbox are off.
- Connect the 4-wire power cable from pc to xbox's hdd. The IDE cable of the xbox's hdd still connects to xbox. You only switch the power cable of xbox's hdd right now.
- Follow all the steps above.

okay you guys if anyone needs help talk to me...ive been cheating for over a year and i know it inside and out....how ever i suggest bridging over modding, easy, takes some skill (believe it or not), is fun, and you can't get banned...it also almost always offers a sure win...just talk to me

not very good mate, i cant fix my xbox, ive tried loads of different ways for a week straight and now my mates xbox has come up with an error 13 while trying to softmod his off a memory card with the softmod copyed over from a softmodded xbox, its all good fun eh
