Hi I'm having a problem getting my psp to play psx games. I'm using 3.02 OE-B firmware. I've used the popstation program to convert my games from iso to the eboot and key files. I also downloaded a game that was supose to be all ready for psp that i had an of and it doesn't work either. When i start the game it shows the Sony warning thing, then the screen goes black.

hey guys. I've been lurking the boards for months now, reading all that I have patience for. I finally hacked my psp two weeks ago. I have ripped quite a few of my PSX games and am using the following softwares:
PSP1001 (fattie)
Dark_Alex 3.90 M33v3 (with 1.50 and 3.71 support)
Kernel 1.50 update
cwcheat
PSX2PSP 1.2
Simple POPstation GUI 3 beta
gpSP
JNester
SNES9x
---

Here's my issue. I successfully rip my psx game, load it to card, it plays fine. If I load 2 games to the card, sometimes they work, sometimes one corrupts the other. 3 or more games at once, forget it. They all end up corrupted data. I dont understand it either. each game has its own folder in the [game] directory. It's a 2gb card with only 20% space used. Anyone else had this problem?

No issues running gpSP, JNester, or SNES9x

Just get
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/994
extract all files to one folder and you are ready to go.
Supports customizing everything, compressing, you can check the savegame code for multi-disc-games and if you want PAL games on 3.03 OE you can patch them with this software.
It also copies the files to the right folders on your PSP.
so this does not work for 4.01M33-2????

I used this tut and for some reason after I select "New Game" it goes to a black screen and nothing happens after that. It just stays black. Any help with this?

OK so I had FFVII converted to an eboot, and it worked, and I got to Disc 2. Then there's a part where the game freezes because it was a bad rip, and so I got a new one and tried converting it as well. However, for some reason it doesn't read my saves anymore. I'm positive my Game Save and Game ID are the same, so what could it be? Could it be a different version or something?

Can anyone aid me here? It's really frustrating after getting so far in the game.

EDIT: I know what's wrong. My original saves were done on a PAL version of FFVII. All other versions I've used are NTSC, is there a NTSC-PAL converter out there? I've only seen the opposite.
