Lads, whats is the search frequency for nt bell dub? Tried an auto search using usual frequency before i flashed box. found stations though obviously not working, now that i have flashed auto search doesnt seem to be picking up any stations?
Have i ballsed up box or just using wrong frequency. Dont think i used 7.42 before hand just used file dated 9/12/08.

The new flash is not working properly, it is not autorolling, you will have to manually input for time being until it is fixed.

Cant manually input cos iv no stations! Dont know what i did wrong but auto search is pullin up nought, whereas an hour a go 6887, freq 270 to 410 pulled up 147 channels.

start again from the beginning and make sure you install new software exactly as stated at the beginning of the thread
make sure stblink up to date, its on eamos library
do all that is there and do a full scan from start to finish, dont use those figures, cos think its higher than 410 anyway
then manually put the k**s in

Hi Eva ..Just in from work.. I have left a note in the stickied thread re the fix regarding its not working properly.. hopefully the powers that be will rectify it ASAP and i will repost the fix... you seem to have had a busy day yoursef LOL

You will get it in eamo's under desB's signature, but if you are in ireland i wouldn't flash at the moment, the new firmware is faulty.

Hi, am new to this sort of thing, my reply lite as gone except for rte 1 etc, i managed to update it before but think i was just luck can anyone help with the new software and just how i can do it, sorry to bother you guys thanks

The new firmware has a fault in it and has gone back to be fixed - DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND USE IT - until it has been rereleased.
You will have to use manual input for the moment sorry.

I can't give you any keys but i can tell you how to input:
Menu
User Installation
Parental Lock
Hit red button to go to Key Manager
Current Key
Turn Auto Update off
exit back to previous screen
Nagra
Provider Id 0 x 55
and then input the two rows

I know its 5E01 on all other boxes but the replay is Special lol

have you got it set to provider id 0 x 55?
Did you do a factory reset? You might have to do an auto scan
Try changing provider id first.
If that doesn't work do auto scan on symbol rate 6887, qam 64.

Make sure you are searching 6887, and search from 200 to 999. Might take a while.

To backup your saved channels and favourites.

Open up the Stblink
Tick ?Maintain User Data?
Select upgrade software
Get the Latest File file from your PC.
From when you see the blocks start to transfer.
It takes 4 mins for the box to be updated.
But make sure you see the led flashing much more quickly than it did when the blocks were transferring. If you leave for even 5 mins it will be OK.
Wait until all the blocks are transferred and WAIT a couple of more minutes for the led to flash much more rapidly than it did when you could visibly see when the blocks were transferring.
Unplug everything and only connect the power lead.
Wait for the led to flash red/green and then stay on green.
Then connect SCART and TV cables.
You might have to unplug the box again and then power it up for a second time.
When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed
Don't unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed

Evastar, thanks for all your help. Unfortunately I downloaded the new software before realising it was faulty. Should this mess up my box or will I simply be able to download the fixed version over the one I've just put on it?

Well i've done the exact same as you. I'd say your box will be fine and you can just flash the new stuff when it comes out. After all, they are still working, just not autorolling!
No problem, sorry i couldn't be any more help. Keep checking in, i don't know when the fix will be out. :)
