my iX 1.4 was 12x as well. Id say none are bad burns, and that the laser is good, since my discs are all loading fine on iX 1.51

So let me get this straight, as of this point there is no way to rip games to pc with ixtreme 1.6. you would have to either have a kreon drive or use the 0800 firmware?

Correct. You would connect the xbox drive to your pc or use a kreon.

1.6 does have the ability to do it we are just waiting on updates to the software to dump the games using the 1.6 0800 feature
If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

If you have a VIA card, I found (in my setup), that I need the VIA driver (viamraid.sys) installed, other wise I am not able to pick up my BenQ 0800.

Actually i didn't use my pc with the via card in it when trying to get my benq with ix1.6/0800 mode to rip. it popped up right away without using one. idk if that would be the case with the actual 0800 fw tho. did you try other ports for your benq?

I don't think that any PC Lite-On drive can read Xbox games. You need a specific drive that I think are no longer in production. They are Samsung drives. You can find them on Ebay, with Kreon firmware installed on them.

Samsung Kreon or an xbox 360 drive. Right now the Kreon drives need a firmware update to be safe.
