Hi,

I've started having problems accessing my folders on my laptop. I'm using windows xp. Every time I click to open a folder on my desktop it wont let me. Im not getting any error messages but something happens to the screen. All the desktop icons disappear,just the screensaver is visible and then it reverts back to normal again. I cant even open the control panel from the start menu, but I can open thing like word, Nero and ie etc.

I've tried system restoring but still no joy, any ideas?
