I changed my TA082 2.7 firmware to a 1.5 firmware. When I try to play an origonal game it reads need to upgrade to 2.7. Why?

because the games require 2.71 to play, duh thats part of why sony makes u upgrade. u need to use a loader or custom firmware

It is a easy installer. So basically you put your PSP in USB Mode run the easy installer (from ver. 1.5 firmware of course). Exit USB Mode and then go to whereever you usually update and there should be a option to upgrade to a custom firmware. I may have those steps a bit messed up as I have never used a easy installer myself. But they are idiot proof, reduce the chance of bricking, and in general simplify the entire process.
