Ok, my 360 is flashed and everything works perfect, but I don't have the original firmware (formatted my comp and forgot to back it up). If my friend's 360 has the same model drive as me, can I use his firmware on mine? Or would it not work that way?

If my drive ever f**ks up, could I buy a new drive and install it myself? Or would I need to buy the exact same kind and patch it using the firmware from my friend's drive?

From my understanding, you need the Drive key for your drive. With that you can transfer drives and etc. Without the key, everything is kinda useless.

If you scroll down it tells ya how to swap drives and stuff. even tell ya how to spoof a drive in case you end with a different model dirve then your original.
