I've followed the how-to to rip a dvd into divx. Once i'm under virtualdub and i wanna start the conversion into divx but i got an error message saying it failed to initialize the audio stream compression. I've reinstalled lame and restarted again i still have the same problem

It took an hour to test and find this bug and it appears really in certain configurations and can be fixed in __extremely weird way__ :-) Check this one out:
