I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this. I ripped a PSP UMD movie into an ISO. (I used UMDRipper) I put the file into my ISO folder but it doesn't show up. Am I suppose to convert it to another file type, another software program, or are UMD movies not made for ripping/playback on the memory stick? I have 3.10 OE-A fw.
Thanks.

You can mount your iso in your PC and copy the file on the iso if it is *.mp4, if not you need to find a convert program to do this.
After you have mp4 file, copy it onto "VIDEO" on your memory stick

Do you mean to convert the ISO to an mp4 or extract the ISO and change those files to mp4? I have Xilisoft PSP Converter to convert my movie files on my PC to mp4s, but I never converted an ISO to an mp4 before. What program do I use for that?
Also after dropping it into the VIDEO folder, do I have to rename the file to something like 100MNV001 as I would with other mp4 video files?

Ok I used MagicISO and the extracted files are *.MPS, *.RCO, *.CLP,. They're all in a folder called UMD_VIDEO. It didnt copy over the file UMD_DATA.BIN for some reason, or unless I dont need it (?). Inside the UMD_VIDEO are three other folders CLIPINF, RESOURCE, and STREAM .

The CLPs files are in the CLIPINF folder, the RCOs are in the RESOURCE folder, and the MPSs are in the STREAM folder.

well i have no idea what those files do...but i was looking around on google and found this
http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t293546.html
u could try doing that, i don't know if it actually works
another option, which i would do myself is to forget about UMD movies and convert normal DVDs, they are a lot less problematic

I'm curious, the files I extracted from the ISO, would I be able to burn them to DVD for playback on a DVD player?

Yes, most likely, if you found a converter/burner that supported those files types. Google's your friend.

and for the record, ISO's are only for games. movies on psp are only in mp4 format so far. if its icon isnt a quiktime logo with the words 'mpg4' under it, it cant be played on a psp.
