I was desoldering the R408 resistor last night and got it off successfully, or so I thought. It runs out that one side came out fine but the other side I used to much pressure and basically tore off the resistor with the square metal lead intact.

Long story short, I was able to solder a piece of wire to one side but unable to solder anything to the other side because there is no metal lead to attach it too.

Im taking suggestions on how I can fix this mistake especially if you had the same experience or something similar.

you are doing a really old method that is outdated, and now you may be SOL, the only people i have heard talking about this never got it fixed, they had to replace their 360
