well, you know official sony firmware can only open eboot.pbp s if they have a signature from sony or somtin like that. well i had an idea, what if you could download a killzone demo or an upgrade or somthin and decrypt the file? to get the signature, and put it in a downgrader? or maybe just modify the upgrade file to a 1.5 upgrade so it has both the signature and the upgrade file?

Also, don't you have to know how to cross-hash or something? I heard that's what Sony uses to make executable programs for the PSP.

I doubt that would work because if it did Dark_AleX would have probably figured it out already. But you should try it anyways. If this worked it would screw sony good...

Oh and this is off topic but, if you wanna fix your sig change the capital IMG in it to lowercase.

well i dont have the skill to do it, i dont understand all of the technical stuff, but if there is anyone out there that does, could you please have a go? it would be much appreciated

Iv already tried this but I couldnt get it to work. i have Fw 3.40 and you must use hex editor to get it to run here is my forum to give you some ideas:
